Reflection on Social Media

After??

As I was learning about this program I knew that this was going to be hard for me, because I didn’t know much about business. All I knew was cleaning, cooking, being a security guard, and my favorite being a Pharmacy Technician. So when I came into this program, I didn’t know what to expect, and didn’t know if I was even going to like it.  I eventually found out that I do like this program and I should really try hard to pass these classes.

Self-reflection entails asking yourself questions about your values, assessing your strengths and failures, thinking about your perceptions and interactions with others, and imagining where you want to take your life in the future.

 What I have learned these past months from Social Media Marketing, is that there is a lot of things that you need to know and how to position your brand. I have learned a lot from these past months.  Social Media can be used for multiple things, like personal business or company business. Many people use social media for different things like reconnecting with old friends that you haven’t talked with, or family members that you didn’t know you had, or just a good old conversation with some family members that you haven’t talked with in a while.

Although there might be ways to reconnect with people through social media, there are some other ways people use social media, like creating blogs, posting pictures and videos to social media to promote and advertise your brand, or to get in touch with your followers. As I am learning from these classes it is showing me that knowing your audience, and knowing how you show your brand and how to engage with your viewers. Giving your viewers more information about your business and your product will help you in the long run.

Another lesson I have learned is that creating blogs is another tool a company needs to increase their visibility. Blogs provide the perfect platform to strengthen your SEO strategy. Blogging and sharing related content is an extremely valuable method to boost traffic to your website and your services. With the aid of SEO tactics like keywords, names, Meta descriptions, and more, blog posts become a powerful tool to make your brand more visible.

Is it a goodbye or do you keep going?

These are some of the lessons I have learned from Social Media Marketing. Social Media Marketing isn’t for everyone, and coming into marketing is a big deal. Having connections and networking through social media is a big part of marketing. Knowing influencers and having connections is a great way for people to get to know your brand and you as a company. If it wasn’t for you spreading the word and creating posts and blogs about your company and making it known for our product and having reviews, it would cripple businesses and other companies without you sharing your views.   And now I have some grasp some on that idea, and I will try my best to learn more and more on marketing. As I go through this course it has taught me a lot about myself, and how I can better understand marketing. It’s been a long and difficult time these past months. But I will conquer marketing.
